Ulysses S. Grant Association Annual Meeting

Mar 3, 2022 - Mar 5, 2022

The Ulysses S. Grant Association will hold its annual meeting on March 3-5, 2022, at the Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library and Museum. The annual meeting will include several important bicentennial events and it will serve as the official opening of the Grant Bicentennial year. Details for the USGA meeting will be forthcoming, but it will be open to non-USGA members as usual.

As part of the March 3-5 program, we will host several top Grant and Civil War scholars for a symposium where they will discuss U.S. Grant, Grant scholarship, and the significance of the bicentennial. These scholars include Dr. John F. Marszalek from the USGA, Dr. Caroline Janney from the University of Virginia, Dr. Edna Greene Medford from Howard University, Dr. Charles Calhoun from East Carolina University, best-selling author Dr. Ronald C. White, and Dr. Joan Waugh from UCLA. The panel of scholars will be moderated by Chief Justice of the Rhode Island Supreme Court (Ret.) and president of the USGA, Frank J. Williams. For more information, please continue to check back as we approach the date of the event.
